Goshinaikikwai Aikido Club Kent - Otford & Bexley

About the club

Founded in 1974 and training in Tomiki Aikido, Goshinaikikwai means "Way of Harmony & Self Defence". Originally based in Dartford we relocated to Bexley in 2007. The club is run on a non-profit basis, by and for it's members. We are a member of The British Aikido Association which is affiliated to The British Aikido Board and recognised by the English Sports Council. Also a founder member of The Association of Dartford Martial Arts Clubs.

We are dedicated to teaching at whichever level required by the student in a disciplined but above all, happy and friendly atmosphere. We provide an all-round, balanced training, so students practice skills from all levels of Aikido. Beginners are welcome at any time and well catered for. There's no obligation to join in if you don't want to and you can stay and watch the class for as long as you wish.

All our instructors are first aid trained and qualified and insured with the British Aikido Association. As well as aikido and self-defence, between them they have a vast knowledge of Japanese Martial Arts encompassing judo, karate, iaido, battojutsu, aikijutsu and jodo.
